Quote of the Day

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it".
Barack Obama

Captain Mike Elliott From The Wicomico County Sheriff's Department In Accident Today

Captain Mike Elliott was heading east across Nanticoke Road this afternoon when a vehicle coming the opposite direction turned left and collided head on with Captain Mike Elliott. The airbag deployed and Mike was complaining of back pain. He was taken to PRMC and the driver of the other vehicle did receive a citation for not yielding properly and causing an accident. Fortunately Mike will be OK and had just been at St Andrews Church displaying their Mobile Command Unit at their Block Party moments before the accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mike.

Calling Out Governor O'Malley

It shouldn't have to take anything special to alert this Governor that he's got a crooked man on one of the boards the Governor is in complete control over.

Mr. John Wade needs to be removed immediately off of every single board he sits on. Planning & Zoning and more importantly the Somerset County Liquor Board, appointed by the Governor.

It has been proven Mr. Wade has a drivers license from Georgia and is NOT a Somerset County Resident. So how long will it take to have him removed?

Question of the Day, Sat 6/7

My family loves watching educational shows on TV. I've been hooked on "Bizarre Foods" on Travel channel.

Tell me.....what is the worst thing you have ever eaten?

143 Days

Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.

In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.
